Why can’t I create an account/create a job posting?
My free trial just expired. What do I do now?
At the end of your free trial, you will have the option to continue posting your jobs by purchasing one of our full-service offerings which feature hourly position-specific assessments, eliminating much of the time and guesswork from your hiring process.
To keep the applications coming, sign in to your account and sign up for one of the paid posting options. There is no commitment; cancel any time.
How do I make sure I’m getting enough applications?
Be sure that your job descriptions are detailed and accurate. Have you included all the job’s perks, benefits and wage details? The more information you provide, the more job seekers will be motivated to apply.
How do I narrow my search to get the right candidates?
We have two novel ways to help you receive applications from those with the skills, experience and other traits that would lead to success in the position and a company like yours. The first way is through filter questions. You can ask your applicants four closed-ended questions (for example, "Are you 18 years of age or older?") and four additional open-ended questions (such as, "Why do you want this job?"). This is a great way to determine if which applicants will be able to work exactly how and exactly when you need the coverage. Meanwhile the second way, assessments, enables you to run your candidates through 15-minute attitude and aptitude tests customized for your industry and positions. Candidates are then presented to you with a color-coded rating: recommended (green), yellow (proceed with caution) and red (not recommended). Not only do our filter questions and assessments improve the quality of your applicant pool, but they reduce the time you spend reviewing unqualified applicants.
I’ve already hired the people I need. How do I take down the job posting?
We’re happy you found some great employees! Sign in and then select the “Jobs” tab. On the right-hand side you’ll see a column labeled “Action.” Find the job you want to take down and click the ‘X’ to close the job. This will remove the job posting from Snagajob.
Remember, hourly hiring is a never-ending endeavor. While Snagajob makes it easier to find and hire quality employees, keeping your postings up and running will ensure you always have a pipeline of great candidates ready to step in.
What should I include in my job posting?
In addition to all the basic position details (duties, needed experience, etc.), make sure your posting is specific, compelling and detailed. Avoid abbreviations and buzz words, and don’t forget to mention on-the-job perks and benefits.
I have a promotional (promo) code. How do I use it?
Promotional codes can be entered at checkout. After you enter your code, you will see the discounted price in your total.
How do I view my job posting once it’s published?
You can review all your job postings when you sign in to your account. Once your posting is live, you can also go to our job search engine and enter your location’s ZIP code to see how your posting appears to job seekers.
How long after I post my job until it goes live?
On average, it will take about two hours after your payment is received for your posting to become live on Snagajob.com. To ensure the safety of our job seekers, we perform a fraud check on all postings before they go live. On average, it takes about two hours after submission for your posting to go live.
Will my posting get lost among those of bigger companies?
Absolutely not. Your posting will be displayed in a random order according to the ZIP code you provided. Job seekers can also find your job by searching by company name, industry or job category.
How do I change my payment method?

How do I cancel my plan?
To cancel, click “My account” and then select “Cancel plan.” You can cancel your plan anytime -if you’re in a free trial, the cancellation will take effect once the trial expires. If you’re using one of our paid posting options, the cancellation will take effect on your plan’s scheduled renewal date. Because of the low rate we offer for our month-to-month plans, we are unable to issue refunds.
